Update

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

It's been a really long time since I've been on here and for good reason. On April 15th 2009 we welcomed K T in to the world. Of course the accountant needed to have a tax day baby. So far everything has been great with everyone. E is transitioning good, though I think she misses having so much time with just me though. She requested that I not work anymore so I can hang out with her at nights. Thank goodness this is the last week that I only see her when I drop her off with S. I get to spend all day with her while on summer vacation. I'm hoping to have a lot of things for us to do. I've already come up with a couple things to keep her busy, if she wants, and plan on coming up with activities that we can do together.

I'm getting off topic here so back to the new addition. I've gone back to work part time, 4pm to 8pm. It's a nice break from the crying and constant wanting me. S takes over when he gets off work till 8pm. He seems to be handling it but I think he's going to break sooner or later so I'm trying to come up with ideas I can do for work from home.

I'm doing great as a new mom. I have all morning with K, which is great us time. I work then come home to bath and put him to sleep. My body seems to have healed and I feel wonderful compared to being pregnant. My energy level has come back, other then the fact that I get little sleep. I don't look like I've had a kid, which I love. I only hate when my hormones take control when I'm exhausted.

K is doing great, growing like a weed. He's been able to hold his head up since he was born. He is starting to talk or at least make sounds at you when you talk to him. He loves being outside and looking at everything. He loves bumpy rides. He's starting to sleep in his crib. Tummy time is great, he hasn't quit got the rolling over but is getting good at pushing him self up, crawling here we come. I think he's starting to teeth already, drooling and you can see white spots where his front teeth are going to be. You can see that his teeth are almost out or the gums. He wants to be pulled up to the sitting position and he does a good job of steadying himself once there.

We have his two month appointment next week so we'll see how he really is doing.
