Baby Shower/Suns weekend

S's Home!!! He was only gone a week but it felt like forever. Being pregnant and having to run around after a 5 year old is exhausting but finally S is back. He came back on Friday so I picked him up at the airport in PHX and headed to his parents house to stay for the weekend.

We had the baby shower in Saturday, which was a total blast and Grandma did a wonderful job. Grandma started early with getting things ready and as soon as I got up I started helping. Annette came over when Greg and the guys went out to play golf and helped out. With the three of us working we barley got everything done when people started showing up. The theme was baby pooh and was so adorable. She cooked so much food that we still had left over on Sunday night. We socialized while we ate then we played the Price is Right with baby items. She had some baby items that we had to guess the amount of the item and the one with the lowest difference won and the one with the greatest difference got honey (and a gift). With my help E won and Lauren, S's cousin thought babies were a lot more then they really are. When opening the gifts we played BINGO, Grandma made out the BINGO cards with items that we might get and as I open a gift if you have it on the card then you get to cross it off. It was a great way to keep the people entertained while I opened gifts. I got some many great gifts that S and I only had to buy about 4 things. I appreciate everyone for being so in-tune with what a parent needs and doesn't need. We only got one blanket, I was worried that we would get a ton of these and nothing else, and it was from G-ma. She knitted it and was it beautiful.

E didn't get left out either. Grandma put together a gift for her. It had fun games and activities for her to do and a Big Sister t-shirt, which was really cute. My sister also got her a few gifts and so did G-ma. G-ma got her a baby set and made her a blanket just like the one she gave me for K. Now E can take care of her baby dolls just like I do. She had so much fun. I think we all did. I know I did, I got to see my family and friends that I hadn't been able to see in a long time. To be able to laugh and hear stories was so much fun. I really appreciate Grandma for doing all this for us.

Suns Sunday!! For Christmas I got S tickets to see the Suns play the Lakers, the seats were center court 17 rows up, really good seats if you ask me. I wish I could have gotten him court side but they are really expensive. The game was an exciting one, especially in the last half. The Suns started out strong and was leading almost the whole game, except the beginning of the third when Kobe started going but that didn't last long. The Suns did an awesome job keeping the Lakers scoring to a minimum. It was a nice treat to be able to have one last thing with S before K comes. I know S liked it since he got his big cookie :)

Now it's time to unpack from a fun filled weekend and try to find space for everything we need. Wish us luck.

*Pictures to come
