Just had a conversation with my boss about what's going to happen when I go on maternity leave and after. I'm taking about a month off then when I come back it's only going to be from 4-8 at night for 5 days a week. We're going to continue this until August then asses if I want to move to days or what's going to happen. I'm so glad they're willing to work with me. I get time away from the house and make money at the same time. I get all summer during the day with the kids and can be home in time to see them off to bed. We've been slowly moving E's bed time to 8, from 7, so I'll make it home just in time to see her off to bed and then S and I can both put K to bed and have time to ourselves.

I was a little worried about the money since S wants to move to a new place but now I'm not. It's nice to finally know that I won't have to look for a job when we need the money and that my boss really value's me and wants to keep me on. You never know. I could be the head of Astro's HR this time next year.

Now to find a place in our price range and allows dogs. Wish us luck.
